Adjust Safari Extension button size to conform with other buttons
You already solved a similar issue with the padding, but now it appears that the incorrect asset is being shown, as the icon is very small and it appears only on the bottom left corner of the button.
Example can be seen here: https://cln.sh/y9nk4UK6lflgYKR2wflZ
Thanks!

Repackage the app so the installer doesn't require Rosetta on M1 computers
I gather that Choosy 2.2.1 is a universal app and should run natively on M1 computers. However, the installer package requires Rosetta. Is there a way to repackage the app so I do not need to let the system install Rosetta?
7 votesFrom version 2.3 (released yesterday) the installer no longer requires Rosetta.

Make Choosy a universal binary for Apple M1 silicon devices
I guess that's on the list for the next version anyway, but maybe it is worth considering a small update version in case the next prod version is not on the horizon anytime soon already :-)
17 votesChoosy has been a universal binary since version 2.2 (released in November 2020). Version 2.3 (released yesterday) fixed a bug where the installer package required Rosetta to run.

Support for the macOS 10.15 Catalina beta
Hey Choosy! I'd love it if macOS 10.15 Catalina beta was supported. Not expecting it, but it'd be cool none the less!

Add support for Coherence X
Coherence X - https://www.bzgapps.com/coherence is an app that allows keeping environments isolated from each other.
Though Choosy detects the browser-based applications Coherence X creates and allows to add them to the list of browsers, link-opening either via tabbing in the popover or via pre-defined rules does not work.
Any plans to support Coherence X?
Thanks!
3 votesThere was a bug on the Coherence X side that meant Choosy could not send URLs to the apps created by Coherence X.
After talking to the Coherence X developers, they’ve found a fix and it should be working in the latest version.

Fix Chrome always asking to open an app
When context clicking on a link in Chrome and selecting "Open with Choosy" a panel pops in at the top of the window (as shown here: http://drops.jsorge.net/DtiHX4 ). Is there any way to stop this so selecting the menu item just gives me the Choosy menu right away?
1 voteThis issue was resolved in Choosy version 2.1.
From Choosy 2.1 onwards, a new mechanism is used to communicate from the Chrome extension to Choosy that does not trigger this prompt. The Chrome extension will fall back to the previous mechanism of communication for older versions of Choosy.
If you’re seeing this issue with Choosy 2.1 please let me know the specific versions of Choosy, Chrome, and the Choosy Chrome extension and I’ll look into this further.

Hide Choosy Preferences window after restart
The Choosy Preferences window keeps showing after restart despite being set to “Hide” in the System Preferences › Users & Groups › Login Items area. It would be great for the Choosy Preferences window to not show after a restart.
This seems like a bug to me.
3 votesLooks like this was an issue with a login item being left around after the 1.x to 2.x upgrade, and it was resolved by removing the old login item.

Choosy not working with Safari 13.0.1
I upgraded this morning to macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and Safari 13.0.1. Choosy now does not work and no longer appears in the Safari Toolbar.
5 votesChoosy 2.1 just shipped, and it includes a brand new Safari App Extension. Once you have Choosy 2.1 installed, the Safari extension should immediately be available, you’ll just need to enable it in Safari’s settings.

Could not load Choosy preferences pane
It worked before, but today is stopped to work.
OSX Siera, 10.12.6
Link to crash report https://paste.ubuntu.com/p/sGPkrW6dYN/
1 voteThis crash was caused by a multi-line URL input in a rule.
I’ve made a change to Choosy 2.0 to prevent multi-line input in rule fields (either by copy-and-paste, or by pressing option+enter) which should prevent this specific crash from happening again.

Choosy crashes with multiple browsers running.
I have tested with the latest versions of Chrome, Opera and Safari. Choosy will display the 3 browsers but before selecting the app crashes.
The same crash occurs with 2 or 3 browsers open.

Add extensions for dev versions of Safari Tech Preview
For Firefox Nightly, I was able to add your regular Firefox extension and it works just fine. But Safari Tech Preview doesn't recognize or even link to a workable extension.
3 votesI believe this one should be resolved by the recent changes in Choosy 2.1: we’ve switched to a new Safari App Extension, which Safari should pick up by default on any machine with Choosy 2.1 or later installed.

"thank you for registering" should not be red
When I open the Choosy pref pane, I immediately see red text at the bottom and think, "oh no! what's wrong?"
Nothing is wrong - you're drawing my attention to a non-essential piece of information to tell me that you're thankful I registered.
Ideally, you would swap out the license info form for a display of my information (I shouldn't need to click "Save" again once my license key was verified).
At the very least, use black text for this message (or other HIG-compatible color that does not usually signify an error).

Fix modifier key feature - text area to record keypress does not appear
Please fix this bug. The little "text area" to record modifier keys does not appear when selecting the modifier key option.
It's unusable. Not sure if others have seen this issue crop up as well but I've had it since the Mojave beta and it's persisted past other Mojave fixes.
See the screenshot here: https://imgur.com/ofLUlfG
32 votesThis should be resolved in version 2.0. It’s working in my local testing on both Mojave and Catalina.

Choosy crashes Chrome
Did Choosy stop supporting Chrome? Every time I tried it in the past week it crashed my Chrome browser. I tried reinstalling it and it doesn't even show up in the list of extensions (but it does for Safari and FF). My version of Chrome is 68.0.3440.84 (Official Build) (64-bit).
22 votesChoosy 2.1 and a new version of the Chrome extension just shipped.
The new Chrome extension should resolve the crashing problem with any version of Choosy, but may ask “do you want to open Choosy?” every time it’s used with older versions of Choosy.
Choosy 2.1 supports a whole new way for the Chrome extension to pass links to it, which should mean no crashing and no annoying prompt.

Support for Handoff
Let's say I want to handoff a webpage from Safari on iOS to Chrome on Mac. How would I set up a rule to support this?
