Add the Ability to Open Links in Already Open Browser
I want the ability to set a browser to be used, but only if it is open. If not, go to the next in the list and so on until hitting one with a browser already open.
If I don't already have the primary browser open and I want to view a link, I don't want it to open all the other windows from the previous session, which it will by default, to just see the new link. Instead, it should fall to a browser which is already open if there is one.
6 votesYou probably want the “use best running browser” option. This will work it’s way down the browser list (top to bottom) and use the first running browser it finds. If this doesn’t provide what you need please elaborate in the comments, if not I’ll close this issue.

Fix the memory leak
Choosy is currently using 427 MB. After restart below 50MB.
6 votesChoosy version 1.1 has switched to automatic reference counting for memory management, and now has a much more stable memory profile. After several days of heavy usage, I see less than 20 MB of real memory usage.

Choosy not working with Safari 13.0.1
I upgraded this morning to macOS Mojave 10.14.6 and Safari 13.0.1. Choosy now does not work and no longer appears in the Safari Toolbar.
5 votesChoosy 2.1 just shipped, and it includes a brand new Safari App Extension. Once you have Choosy 2.1 installed, the Safari extension should immediately be available, you’ll just need to enable it in Safari’s settings.

Add support for multiple displays
It looks like Choosy only works with a single display. If I click a link within a window located on display #2, the transparent popup appears on the edge of display #1.
5 votesThis is already fixed and will be included in the next release (0.9.1)

Webkit and Safari: used to be recognized as different browsers on Beta, but not on the final version
There is some confusion on this new version, Webkit and Safari used to have different icons on Choosy wheel on beta, but after installing the final version today, only Safari is recognized. Webkit is on the list but it doesn't show up in any way. Clicking on Safari brings only the Safari window.
Also the new version of the wheel is hideous. Ok, it is fine to have some feedback on what URL is about to open, but the former version was WAY more elegant. I am trying to get used to it.5 votesResolved off list. Needed rebooting after upgrade.

Adjust Safari Extension button size to conform with other buttons
You already solved a similar issue with the padding, but now it appears that the incorrect asset is being shown, as the icon is very small and it appears only on the bottom left corner of the button.
Example can be seen here: https://cln.sh/y9nk4UK6lflgYKR2wflZ
Thanks!

simplify the menu bar icon
Although I really like the choosy logo when it's fairly large and in colour, it really doesn't work when compressed down to 16x16 in greyscale. It just looks like a random blob, which gives me a couple of seconds pause when I try to find it to modify a setting.
I'd suggest a smaller C with just the north/east/south/west arrows in a 2d style (but ... I am not a designer, so there's almost certainly a better idea ;).
3 votesAgreed, and forwarded to the icon designer this morning. Fast designer is fast:

Bug / macOS Sierra clean install - System Preferences quit unexpectedly while using the Choosy plug-in
I'm running macOS Sierra 10.12.5 and Choosy 1.2.1. I just created a fresh install of macOS and, using the latest 1.2.1, was able to get Choosy successfully installed, licensed and confirmed working. However, whenever I attempt to create a rule under Advanced by pressing the "+", System Preferences crashes (Kernel Protection Failure) and produces the error "System Preferences quit unexpectedly while using the Choosy plug-in". I have attempted to uninstall and reinstall and reboot the system. If it's helpful I can forward the Problem Details and System Configuration log that is produced when the error occurs. I'm also happy to…

show version in 'About' pane, (what beta am I using?)
I'm wondering if I'm using the latest beta, and nowhere in the interface does it show the version number. Adding it to the about pane in preferences would help.
3 votesThere’s only been one public release so far, version 0.9.0. The new as-yet-unreleased version 0.9.1 does show the version number on the about pane. It also has built in updates, so you can check for new versions from within the preference pane.

Add a rule to disable Choosy with certain applications
I use Choosy for every link the system sees. Although this is superduper, it poses a big problem with applications like GarageSale. Therefore I would like a rule where I can say that when in application 'GarageSale', do nothing.
3 votesYou can already do this with the existing advanced behaviours: Set up a rule so that if the source application is GarageSale links are always opened in a chosen browser (e.g. Safari)
There is more information about setting up advanced rules here: http://www.choosyosx.com/help/settings/advanced.html
