Add the Ability to Open Links in Already Open Browser
I want the ability to set a browser to be used, but only if it is open. If not, go to the next in the list and so on until hitting one with a browser already open.
If I don't already have the primary browser open and I want to view a link, I don't want it to open all the other windows from the previous session, which it will by default, to just see the new link. Instead, it should fall to a browser which is already open if there is one.
6 votesYou probably want the “use best running browser” option. This will work it’s way down the browser list (top to bottom) and use the first running browser it finds. If this doesn’t provide what you need please elaborate in the comments, if not I’ll close this issue.

allow links to open in browser w/o making browser foreground
example: selecting item in NetNewsWire to open in browser in background, with Choosy enabled, browser opens link but brings itself to foreground application.
1 voteThis is done, and will be included in the next Choosy release (version 0.9.1). The fix also applies to opening links from Mail while holding down the command key and other situations where the browser is meant to open in the background.

Add support for multiple displays
It looks like Choosy only works with a single display. If I click a link within a window located on display #2, the transparent popup appears on the edge of display #1.
5 votesThis is already fixed and will be included in the next release (0.9.1)

show version in 'About' pane, (what beta am I using?)
I'm wondering if I'm using the latest beta, and nowhere in the interface does it show the version number. Adding it to the about pane in preferences would help.
3 votesThere’s only been one public release so far, version 0.9.0. The new as-yet-unreleased version 0.9.1 does show the version number on the about pane. It also has built in updates, so you can check for new versions from within the preference pane.

orient browser names in circular menu beneath icons
The circular menu's every-which-way presentation of browser names makes it very hard to see at a glance what you're getting and adds distracting visual clutter. Either it should have the names immediately underneath each icon, should only show the name when you hover over an icon (with the name located either below the icon or in some standard location like beneath the circle or in the middle), or should just show icons.
6 votesThe circular prompt has been completely redesigned in version 0.9.2.
