Choosy simply work for me
I think my issue is similar to the one where it automatically disables it. However, even when I have the prefs pane open with choosy enabled and the checkbox still there on my screen, clicking links does nothing different. One weird thing is that when I open the prefs pane, it looks like for a half second, the "enable" checkbox is unchecked, and then it automatically gets checked off.
I've made sure that Choosy is always set as my default browser. I'm not sure if there's anything else I can try. I have a bunch of advanced rules set, so I'm trying to avoid re-installing and setting all those up again.
I'm running OSX Lion
This seems to be a duplicate of other issues.

Regarding Choosy becoming disabled: Choosy works by setting itself as the default browser, so when you open a link Mac OS will send it to Choosy, and Choosy will send it on to a browser. Could it be that one of your browsers is setting itself as default and overriding Choosy?
Regarding opening links: Choosy's deliberately designed not to interfere once you're in a browser. In some cases this would be useful, but in general I think it would be confusing. As I mentioned in a comment on one of your other posts, I'd like to add more functionality to the browser plugins eventually, but the differences in browser capabilities sometimes delay things.
Hope that helps!

Okay, so now I have actually uninstalled and re-installed choosy according to the uninstall instructions on the choosy help site. I've restarted/shutdown a few times. Still doesn't work*.
My advanced rules were still there when I reinstalled, so while it's nice that I don't have to input those again, I'm wondering if maybe there was more that could've been done to REALLY remove choosy from my computer before reinstalling.
*Here's the thing: I have realized that it now DOES work in non-browser apps. It won't work inside any browser. Maybe I am misunderstanding how choosy works, but I would like to be able to click on a link in one browser and choose to open it in another.

Oh jeez, ridiculous typo in the title, so sorry about that!
I tried opening the choosy.prefpane file again and replacing the current prefpane, which I'm sure doesn't really do/mean anything, but in case it's supposed to, that didn't do anything to help.
This app fits into my workflow perfectly, and I love what you've done - if I can just get it working I will be very happy to pay for it.
