  1. As said above, when I use Choosy in Firefox, it immediately opens a blank tab in Safari before I've even chosen a browser from Choosy.

  2. If I click an Entourage link after Choosy has been inactive for a few hours, it takes 15-30 seconds to display the browser choice icons, often with them being pixelated. During that time, cursor is also frozen. Pretty repeatable, but no issue if you just recently used Choosy.

  3. I found that when URL contains Japanese letters, choosy bookmarklet does not recognize the URL properly.
This problem particularly occurs in Amazon.co.jp

  4. It will workmproperly when I tell it to offer me running browsers, but when I want all browsers it offers me ALL browsers, not just the ones on my browser list. I do web development, so I have a LOT of them, but only want to choose from about 5 when I click a link, the ones on my browser list. This is how it used to work, but no longer.

  6. I'd really like a preference to have choosy run against all links clicked in the browser.

I always open certain sites in certain browsers (gmail and youtube in chrome, etc.) Choosy is great for this, but sometimes there are links to those sites in a page and if I don't notice and choose 'open with choosy', they open in the current browser, bypassing my choosy preferences. I'd like to be able to set my preferences for all links, not just when I remember to click 'open in choosy'

Choosy works by setting itself as the default browser. This problem often arises when another browser sets itself as the default (e.g. many browsers nag you to set them as the default when they are launched, and if you do so Choosy will be disabled)

Could this be the cause of your problem?

  8. While looking for a while to automate a global git status I noticed Choosy includes a git repo within its resources.

    ~/Library/PreferencePanes/Choosy.prefPane/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/ChoosyHelp/.git

  9. Choosy doesn't behave correctly with Tweetdeck. I've set a rule to launch Chrome, but it always opens links in Safari. Won't respect the modifier key either.

  10. Choosy is not opening tweetdeck when links from twitter notifications in notification center are set to redirect there via rules, I have all my general preferences set to safari, just wanted Choosy to open those specific redirections in Tweedeck, any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help

  11. The Reeder app was recently updated and I've noticed that the Context Menu item for Choosy is now "View in (Null)" instead of "View in Choosy" I don't'know if this is an issue with Choosy or Reeder, but thought I'd point it out in both support forums.

  13. I love choosy, but I would love it even more if I could use it for all document types, not just hyperlinks. It would be nice if the user could define the file extension(s) and relavent applications, and then customize the preference as with the current choosy. This would be especially useful for .doc .pdf .mp3 etc...

  14. I only want to use the advanced behaviour rules but I can't use that without constantly being promted in other browsers.

Solution: add a behaviuor option: do not promt, stay in current browser.

  15. There is a nice new Google Drive client named Archy. But when I use Archy and Choosy together, I cannot open links from Choosy, in Archy. It would be nice to get this to work somehow. Any ideas would be helpful.

  16. I installed choosy on a Mac Pro with Lion but it breaks all links. I click on a link and nothing happens at all. If i disable "Choosy for Links" they work fine and open in the browser

  19. Choosy does not respond to ANY links in Safari.

If I click a torrent link, the torrent file is automatically downloaded to my downloads folder - I don't get to pick a torrent client to open it with.
If I click a magnet link, I'm not given an opportunity to select which torrent client I want to use, it always opens Transmission.

This isn't an issue in Firefox - Choosy's popup window always appears and lets me choose.

    OS X 10.7.5
    Safari 6.1.2.
    Choosy 1.0.3

  20. When I click links in Notification Center I always want them to open in Safari instead of Chrome, but it's not an 'app' I can select from the rules tool.
