The URL x-choosy://prompt.all/https://www.azimuthproject.org/azimuth/show/Experiments%20in%20Differential%20Logic doesn't work from
URL's with spaces (either " " or "%20") stopped working at some point:
x-choosy://prompt.all/https://www.azimuthproject.org/azimuth/show/Experiments%20in%20Differential%20Logic
I'm pretty sure the logjam is at the macosx prefpane app, but I haven't proven that yet.
If it's not obvious what the problem is, tell me what more I need to do?

option to lock to a specific browser from the menu bar
Ability to lock the browser choice to a particular browser selected in the menu item's menu, until disabled again. Choosy won't be shown when opening URLs, but the browser selected when locking is automatically chosen.

Open link in browser in background broken in Mountain Lion
On Lion, when I Command-Clicked on a link in another app & then chose a browser in Choosy, that link would open with the browser remaining in the background.
This behavior appears to be broken in Mountain Lion. No matter what I do, when I Command-Click on a link in another app & select Safari, for instance, Safari immediately jumps to the foreground.
Any chance this can get fixed? Without it, Choosy is kind of annoying
instead of awesome, like it normally is. :)6 votes -
Not working on 64bit 10.6.3. Menu icon missing, no reaction when clicking links
I just tried Choosy on Mac OS X 10.6.3 64bit. Unfortunately, it isn't working, When clicking a link, absolutely nothing happens, even though I defined actions. Also, no menubar icon is displayed, no matter what.

Choosy doesn't distinguish between standard Chrome and SSB Chrome
I'm using Chrome SSBs on Mac for sites like Gmail.
First, I'd like all links clicked in the Gmail SSB to open in the standard Chrome instance, without needing to right click and select "Open with Choosy".
Second, even when I do click "Open with Choosy", the link will open in the wrong chrome instance. Instead of opening in standard Chrome, as I selected, the link will open in one of the SSB Chromes.

Lion 10.7: Cannot select Choosy as default browser
On Mac OS X Lion 10.7, I cannot select Choosy as the default browser. I can navigate to the preference pane, but it is greyed out and cannot be selected. This means that none of the links I click on get sent to Choosy!

Modifier key selection appears to be broken in Catalina
Attempting to set a custom modifier key and am unable to set it. This is using 2.1 on Catalina. Looks like it is keeping a default of ⌘-shift but you cannot change it.

Add options in Advanced to open link in new window
When you set a rule to open links in a given browser, it'd be great to have an option to open them in a new window or in an existing one.

Opening non-incognito in Chrome
Thanks for adding opening specifically to incognito on Chrome! It's really great.
The current issue I have is that even when specify to open non-incognito, Chrome seems to open the url in the front most window, even if it's incognito.
I understand that this is this has always been the existing behavior, and I'm not sure if this is possible, but the new feature made me want more :)Thanks for the great product.

Support automatically sending pages to other browsers
For example, if I open a page in one browser that should be opened in another browser, have it automatically send it to the other browser. For instance, if I type it in or if I copy a url into the url bar and press enter

Choosy should work w/ Twitterrific. Does not. Bug?
The Choosy browser set appears though, but disappears immediately without action.

I can’t duplicate this bug – I’ve had no problems with a couple of recent versions of Twitterific. Could you let me know more details? (Twitterific version and any Twitterific settings that might be relevant to how it opens links)

Anyone else experiencing Choosy stop working after sleep?
I haven't pegged it down, but in Snow Lep Choosy just stops working. Seems to be after a sleep. Example: normally click a link in Tweetie, get the Choosy pop-up. After sleep, a click just opens default browser. Haven't nailed it down to just sleep -- could be after a period of time, I'm trying to find the pattern. I have to logout to get Choosy working again, either way. (Noteworthy that I'm seeing similar behavior from Google Quick Search Box?)

Make it possible to customize the icon of a browser
I run Chrome with four different profiles. I love that Choosy makes it possible to use each of the profiles as a separate browser option. On feature that would make life just a little bit smoother is the ability to customize the icon for each browser. It would make it quicker and easier to identify and select the browser I want to send the page to.
Also, thank you for making Choosy! It has proven to be a great tool for me!
