Fix links from Adobe applications
Choosy doesn't work from Adobe apps. Please fix it.
It’s taken me quite a bit of troubleshooting (with Adobe tech support) to discover it is the culprit behind my broken links from Adobe products. For example, in Adobe XD, when I choose the “Share” menu and then choose “Manage links” it takes me to a page that says “Invalid credentials.” When I deactivate Choosy, the page appears fine.
I don't know if this is because it is using Adobe Air.

Advanced rule source app shows blank
In Choosy 1.3 on Mojave 10.14.5 there is a problem with adding advanced rules based on source application. Unlike some of the other open issues here, the rule does actually work for me. But the application name appears blank in the rule list.

Allow advanced rules to not open a browser
I have some development scripts that will open links when things happen in my test app. I’d like to be able to set up a choosy rule that doesn’t open those links in any browser when the rule is active.
(A workaround is to choose “Use all of these browsers...” and choose nothing.)

Jamf: The application "Choosy" can't be opened.
Ever since upgrading to 2.0, I cannot used Choosy any longer. I simply get a popup dialog saying "The application Choosy can't be opened." Nothing obvious to me in the console to help figure out what's happening. I've deleted and tried 2.1 with no luck.
Any suggestions?
1 voteThis issue is caused by an incompatibility between Jamf and Choosy’s Hardened Runtime settings. I’m working on a fix.

No Open with Choosy in Safari contextual menu
The “Open with Choosy” option is not included in the right-click menu for links in Safari after installing and activating the browser extension (in Mojave 10.14.6, with Choosy 2.1) on my Mac.
The toolbar button is there, but not the option in the menu. Quitting and relaunching Safari doesn't help.
What am I missing?

Bug: Since upgrading to MacOS 10.15.4 (19E266), Choosy displays available browsers rather than opening the browser specified in rules.
Since upgrading to MacOS 10.15.4 (19E266), Choosy displays available browsers when clicking on a link, rather than opening the preferred browser specified in rules. These rules used to work just prior to upgrade.

not
It would be nice to negate a custom rule, e.g.
If web address does NOT begins with... to avoid relying on regex for simple use cases.

context menu missing from Firefox extension version 2.0.1
Was glad to see the new Firefox extension update since it hadn't been working before, but now I don't see the Open with Choosy menu option anywhere in the context menu when I right click on a link. Did that break in this version bump or am I doing something wrong?
1 voteI’m getting reports that this is still an issue after reinstalling, so I’m re-opening the issue.

Chooser doesn't work (missing web address) with Consequence of Sound links in Tweetbot
BUG REPORT:
With Tweetbot 3.3.3 and Choosy 2.1 under macOS 10.15.6, if I view a tweet from the @consequence account that contains a link and I try to click on that link, the Choosy browser chooser appears, but the link bar underneath is empty, and clicking on a browser doesn't work. (Nothing happens.)
So far I am only able to reproduce it with links from that particular Twitter account, which are shortened with a custom scheme using the form
Something in this doesn't agree with Choosy's default behaviour.
HOWEVER, if, instead of simply clicking on the link, I right-click…

Choosy won't open links in Gmail to Docs, Forms, Sheets, etc...
Choosy is great! The only problem I am having is with links to G-docs in Gmail. No matter what I try, I can't get Choosy to launch when I click on any link to any G-doc. It always opens in the browser I am using, or from an email client whichever browser has been defined as the system default.

Widen input field for rules
The preference sheet for advanced rule editing allows itself to be resized, but the input field for "Web address contains" rule is fixed in size. It should resize in response to the sheet size.
