  1. Choosy is working as the default browser, but it does not appear in System Preferences, so I can't change any of its options. Help, please!

  2. The Browsers Window and/or the advanced Window are empty or show parts of the before background.
    I have 10 days for testing left - now (since Yosemite?) I have this issue

  3. Just recently had Choosy stop working during a session, after it has worked fine for a period. For instance, I am in Mail now and a link click simply launches the default browser -- the box of browser icons doesn't appear. Five minutes before, it had been working fine. This has happened 3 times in the past several days, during which Apple I believe has released some software updates I installed, so perhaps that's the problem.

  5. Is this possible atm?
    I've tried Advanced section with Download Shuttle, by setting rule if web address ends in zip or dmg or iso, but Safari just downloads the file and Choosy does not intercept and parse to Download Shuttle.

    Ideas?

  6. I use different browsers by security domain: unauthenitcated, authenticated, sensitive. I have a separate keyring for sensitive domains. It is quite cumbersome to add many "webaddress contains" rules in the advanced tab. Improvments would be:
    (a) pop up a window that will allow browser selection for the first time a domain is opened, and
    (b) look up if a domain is listed in an unlocked keyring and select a default browser based on it.

  9. I'd really like a preference to have choosy run against all links clicked in the browser.

    I always open certain sites in certain browsers (gmail and youtube in chrome, etc.) Choosy is great for this, but sometimes there are links to those sites in a page and if I don't notice and choose 'open with choosy', they open in the current browser, bypassing my choosy preferences. I'd like to be able to set my preferences for all links, not just when I remember to click 'open in choosy'

  10. I have some development scripts that will open links when things happen in my test app. I’d like to be able to set up a choosy rule that doesn’t open those links in any browser when the rule is active.

    (A workaround is to choose “Use all of these browsers...” and choose nothing.)

  12. When I click links in Notification Center I always want them to open in Safari instead of Chrome, but it's not an 'app' I can select from the rules tool.

  13. I use Fluid to make browsers for certain webpages, including Google.com. If no browsers are open and I need to quickly search for something, I can open it instead of a regular browser without having to wait for all its tabs to load.

    But when search results are returned, none of the links can be opened in the Fluid window. The Choosy window pops up, I choose the Fluid browser - the page flashes and nothing happens.

    Earlier Safari was closed when I tried this several times and something very erratic occurred: I chose Fluid, but It appeared as though…

  16. Was glad to see the new Firefox extension update since it hadn't been working before, but now I don't see the Open with Choosy menu option anywhere in the context menu when I right click on a link. Did that break in this version bump or am I doing something wrong?

  18. Automatically update the user base and serials tagged when you launch a new version. The old serial numbers do not seem to work with the new versions.

  19. I am having difficulty activating rules on Mojave; don't think the rule is entered incorrectly.

    rule to specify that all google docs and drive urls are always opened with chrome even if browser is not running.

    set all the following are true
    -> web address matches regex (?i)(.docs.|.drive.)(google.com)
    always use this browser … chrome

    [later tried if any of the rules are true
    -> web address contains 'docs.google.com'
    -> web address contains 'drive.google.com'
    prompt to select from these browsers … safari, chrome]

    Neither rule worked. Was always prompted with running browsers (as per browser behavior settings) but the…
