Updated to El Capitan Public Beta 2. Trying to use Choosy's preference pane locks up.
I get the "click on Enable Choosy..." OK button locked so I can't enable Choosy.
Sigh...
The popup reminding people to enable Choosy (which was buggy in El Capitan, and annoying even before El Capitan) has been removed completely in Choosy version 1.1.

Same problem still exists with El Capitan 10.11.1. I'm switching to Browser Fairy, which is only $5. (As opposed to $12 we all paid for Choosy). It sucks that developer isn't diligent with the OS patches.

I am experiencing this probem with El Capitan 10.11.1. I have tweeted at the developer but not received any response.

It's working for me in MacOS X 10.11.1 (15B42). Just had to start the helper again in the Choosy Preference Pane.

Just use a supported alternative such as Browser Fairy. Works just as well if not better.

No luck with release or first post-release beta (OS X 10.11.1 15B22c).
Same as above; modal dialog that can't be dismissed until System Preferences is force quit.
@ Brian Shick, what does "reset the Choosy helper to restart" mean?

I just tried installing Choosy on my Mac which is running El Capitan developer beta 7 and I'm getting the dialog box telling me that Choosy is disabled and that I need to check the box to enable it but I can't dismiss the dialog box to get to the check box. Argh!

In case it helps, Choosy is working for me now in beta 6. Had to reset the Choosy helper to restart, but fine once that's done.
