Temp freezing the computer or visual bug when clicking on a link
I'd love to have this figured out to narrow it down more, but at apparently random times when I click on a link, instead of choosy showing up, the computer will freeze for ~15 seconds. Background task will continue (itunes playing music, etc.) but user input does nothing (cursor won't move, can't alt-tab, can't switch spaces, etc.)
After the ~15 seconds is up, everything goes back to normal. If I click a 2nd time at that point, choosy will mostly likely behave normally.
Also, and possibly related is choosy will be visually bugged.

This looks like it might be related to driver issues with the Nvidia Geforce 7300 graphics card.
Could those who are following this thread leave comments indicating which graphics card their Mac uses?
Thanks for your patience while I fix this.

NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT, though I haven't had this problem in a while.

yes, can confirm that it's still doing it, this time after I woke the computer, entered mail.app and clicked a link that someone sent, it froze for several seconds and then showed garbled icons in square.
nothing in the system.log that looks useful.

I've turned choosy back on to confirm I'm still having issues, will comment if/when if fails again.

I've just started getting this problem in the past few days. I'm running Choosy on 10.6.4 on a 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo iMac with 3GB of memory. Any insight into this would be enormously helpful, as I depend on Choosy immensely. It's great!

Here's what's happening for me. I have a list of urls in Numbers.app, I click, choosy firefox, check the IP address, copy it to the clipboard, go back to Numbers to paste the IP address in, click the next url and it hangs, coming up with corrupted icons after a pause, click somewhere else and click the url and it opens choosy instantly with proper icons.
Hope this helps

Nope, that's not true, sorry. it did it again with html files unchecked... it seems to be associated with changing windows?

Ah, in case this helps turning off the option to enable choosy for html files makes the problem go away.

P.S it seems to happen every time. Happy to help diagnose, as choosy was my friend!

Can you give me a little more information, specifically what spec is the Mac you are using, and which version of Mac OS X. Thanks.
