Fix bug where Choosy is disabled on startup
Choosy is installed and working beautifully, and set as standard browser in Safari. Until I restart... Almost every time I restart (I'd say 80-90 % of the time), Choosy has disabled itself in the System Preferences and Safari has taken the position of default browser.
So the first thing I need to do when I restart the computer is to go to System Preferences, click OK in the "Choosy is disabled" dialogue box (that's a very annoying little box), and check "Enable Choosy for links" and Enable Choosy for HTML files".
This was the case in the beta versions and is still the case after I upgraded to 1.0.
Very annoying.
Probably not intentional.
There hasn’t been any new feedback on this issue in a long while, and with the significant changes to Choosy’s architecture in 2.0 I’m going to close this.
Feel free to open a new issue if similar problems come up in the post-2.0 world!

I am having this same issue with Choosy disabling randomly. It is almost unusable due the amount of times this problem occurs. Please help with this fix!!!!

Same thing, mine randomly just turns off and I have to go into the preferences and turn it back on again. Very annoying.

Same problem here. Choosy turns itself off, and Safari preferences keep reverting to Safari as my default browser. Vexing...

I've been trialing Choosy for the past month or so and every so often it'll disable itself. This happens even without me restarting my computer (I often have uptime of over 20 days). It's possible that putting the computer to sleep does it but I'm almost certain it disables itself out of nowhere in the middle of working day. I love Choosy and now that my trial is about to end I'm interested in purchasing it but this particular annoyance is putting me off.

Seeing the same issue here on 10.6.2 and Choosy 1.0.1. I can't quite figure out the pattern, but it's very annoying.
Any fixes in the make?
