I do this constantly (one of the best features of Choosy). I currently have IE6, IE7, IE8, and IE9 in Choosy.

Both the latest version of Fusion and Parallels register IE as a system browser, which is then available to Choosy.

Yes, this would already be possible in VMware, and quite possible in Parallels. However VirtualBox doesn't have the same tight integration with the host os, so it probably wouldn't work with VirtualBox.

I believe this is already possible. VMWare and Parallels allow you to add Windows applications as shortcuts to your Dock. VMWare in particular (if memory serves) adds Windows browsers to the OSX browser list. You should be able to add them to Choosy normally and will work as expected.

Or at least in CrossOver then I would be able to test both the Mac based browsers as well as the Windows based browsers.
