New bug - advanced rules not working with non-MacOS apps
Advanced rules about source apps don't work with some my apps:
- Slack
- Microsoft Outlook
- xMind
Instead of opening the chosen Chrome, Choosy asks me to choose from all browsers defined in settings ("Browsers" tab).
However, native Mail.app works great and uses the desired browser.
MacBook Air Mid 2012
MacOS Sierra 10.12.1
Choosy 1.1
It worked great a while ago, but after some recent update (I didn't notice, which one) stopped.
Can you check this issue out?
This bug was fixed in v1.2
Note that for Slack, because of their application architecture, you have to select a Slack Helper app as the source application instead of Slack itself. See the comments here: http://feedback.choosyosx.com/forums/6165-general/suggestions/10036836

I am not able to set Microsoft Outlook.app in (paid) Choosy Advanced Settings. I click the Browse button, select the app and click Select, but the app does not appear in the pane and the rule does not work. I am running Mojave 10.14.3 on a MacBook Pro Retina 13" early 2015. I tried selecting the app as I found the simple URL rule in the Advanced Settings (eg https://github.com) did not work either. Any help appreciated.

The problem is solved with the help of Slack Helper! :)
Thanx a lot! -

Are you still seeing issues with Slack specifically? I've updated the status with steps to resolve that.

Unfortunately it still isn't working.
I upgraded. And even reinstalled. Problem remains. -

seems to work in 10.12.2, but that is how I found on that one install it would not work when installed for all users. I removed and then installed for just me and it started to work after approving gatekeeper popup.
