Add ability to open in a Firefox container tab
Firefox now allows container tabs. It'd be cool to support these tabs as options in Choosy, so when clicking a link I could open it in a Firefox "Work" tab or a "Personal" tab.

Opening non-incognito in Chrome
Thanks for adding opening specifically to incognito on Chrome! It's really great.
The current issue I have is that even when specify to open non-incognito, Chrome seems to open the url in the front most window, even if it's incognito.
I understand that this is this has always been the existing behavior, and I'm not sure if this is possible, but the new feature made me want more :)Thanks for the great product.

New lines in predicate causes "Could not load Choosy preference pane."
Somehow I ended up pasting a new line into what ends up in the predicate value in behaviors.plist. This causes the "Could not load Choosy preference pane." error and prevents any links from being routed. I removed the offending newline and all is well again.

MacOS 10.13.1. Chrome 61.0.3163.100 64bit. Seems to have started in the last few weeks. Choos Safari or Firefox and those open correctly.

Switch to space with opened browser
Hey
I just started to use Choosy and I love the tool.
At the moment I have 2 browsers (FirefoxDev and Firefox) on 2 different workspaces and work-related urls configured to be opened in FirefoxDev, but when I am opening a link it does not switch to proper space. Could you please fix this?
Best,

Could not load preference pain on 1.2.2
I've previously had Choosy installed and working fine but was having some issues with it still loading 1.1 after the recent update.
I eventually got both instances to stop starting on reboot by removing from system preferences and deleting
Choosy
directory from~/Library/Application Support
.However now when trying to re-install from 1.2.2 download I keep ending up with "Could not load Choosy preference pane". I note the
Choosy
directory is back under~/Library/Application Support
as you'd expect. What else should I be looking for to get this back to a "clean" install so I get Choosy running again?

fix that Choosy doesn't work for links in other applications
I installed Choosy. I gave it one simple rule, which is to open all links with a particular URL in a particular browser. It doesn't work.
I read through all of the documentation and couldn't find anything I'm doing wrong.
I tested first with "use choosy for links" not checked. But clicking on links just opens in my default browser, as usual. I tested next with "use choosy for links," which asks me if I want choosy to be my default browser. I said yes. But clicking on links results in nothing happening at all.
I tested by clicking links…

Check modifier key works
Hi. Great program, Have been using it for years and it makes managing multiple browsers (one for general browsing, one for web programming, etc) easy. Unfortunately there is either a bug or I misunderstand the modifier key option. I want to use a custom key combo to trigger the ask for browser option but I have 2 issues: first, it always enters command shift and I can't change it; and second, the choose option triggers even if I don't press any modifiers! Am I missing something here? Thanks. Again, apart from that, great program!

Make choosing browsers with shortcuts 1,2,3,4(etc)
Make choosing browsers keyboard friendly with shortcuts 1,2,3,4 (etc) default behavior and allow users to modify with their own definable keys when the modal window comes up to choose a browser. Example I could see someone using f for firefox, c or gc for chrome s for safari, and so on. Since we have to choose a browser often in the beginning anyways before we setup a ton of rules, best make it as painless as possible.

route by availability of domain in keyring
I use different browsers by security domain: unauthenitcated, authenticated, sensitive. I have a separate keyring for sensitive domains. It is quite cumbersome to add many "webaddress contains" rules in the advanced tab. Improvments would be:
(a) pop up a window that will allow browser selection for the first time a domain is opened, and
(b) look up if a domain is listed in an unlocked keyring and select a default browser based on it.1 vote -
Choosy to Chrome stopped working
Not sure what happened but after a Chrome restart, if I now try and select Chrome to open a URL, the choosy dialog graphic just moves down to where I clicked. I see the menu bar switch to "Google Chrome" however, so it seems like it's activating Chrome just not able to get the URL to it.
Is there a log file or something I might be able to look at to try and figure out what has happened? Is this a known issue at all?
I'm on Chrome 55.0.2883.95, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5).

Real Retina support for Choosy 1.1?
The release notes for Choosy 1.1 say that it has Retina support, but when I click on a link that triggers the display of the browser prompt, the icons and text labels are still non-Retina.
Running Choosy 1.1.1 in Sierra 10.12.2.

Using Alfred to Open Different Browsers
Hi
I have just downloaded a trial of Choosy and would like to use it in conjunction with Alfred so that searches on Google Drive open up on Chrome. I use Chrome for my work activity on Google Drive and I use Safari for most of my other internet use. I have tried setting up a rule for the address drive.google.com in the preference pane but it still defaults to Safari.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Backup to Dropbox, Google Drive etc
Hi,
Would really love a backup to Dropbox, Google Drive etc as I'd hate to lose my rules!!!
Ash.
18 votesStoring rules in iCloud might also be a good solution for this.
In the short term, there is a file you can back up manually for your advanced rules: ~/Library/Application Support/Choosy/behaviours.plist

Mass Deployment
Does Choosy have a plist file which can be configured and packaged? We are looking at using Choosy in our enterprise but need to be able to deploy it. Any information you can provide on the location of configuration files/plists and under which profiles they are installed would be helpful
Thank you
