  2. Add an option to the ruleset to allow decisions based on the power status of the computer: For example pick one browser if you're plugged in, and another if you're on battery.

  3. When I download version 1.3 from your website, I get a zip file named "Choosy 1.3.zip" but when I extract it, it always contains Choosy 1.2.2, which does not work on my machine (could not load extension error). Is there actually a version 1.3 in existence? If so how can I get it?

  5. I am having difficulty activating rules on Mojave; don't think the rule is entered incorrectly.

    rule to specify that all google docs and drive urls are always opened with chrome even if browser is not running.

    set all the following are true
    -> web address matches regex (?i)(.docs.|.drive.)(google.com)
    always use this browser … chrome

    [later tried if any of the rules are true
    -> web address contains 'docs.google.com'
    -> web address contains 'drive.google.com'
    prompt to select from these browsers … safari, chrome]

    Neither rule worked. Was always prompted with running browsers (as per browser behavior settings) but the…

  8. This would allow me to make rules that say things like "when I click a link in Slack team A, use Chrome profile B to open it." Right now I have it set to always prompt for every link in Slack, but I almost always choose the specific Chrome profiles for specific Slack teams (work, personal, etc).

  13. Choosy is causing 1Password 7 (latest version) to crash. So I've had to disable Choosy. Would love it if you could test it with 1Password and find a fix. Thanks.

  14. Hi. I purchased Choosy years ago and stopped using it for a reason I can't remember. But I downloaded it again today and I was happy to find out that my license is still valid.

    Anyway, I have a suggestion for the Behaviour options.

    Right now there are only options for "When one or more browsers are running,.."

    However, I'd like there to be separate options for when one browser is running and for when more than one browser is running.

    For instance, I normally just have Safari running as my only browser. When Safari is the only browser running,…

  15. When clicking a link in e.g. Mail, it's horrible to be teleported to a workspace where I have other Chrome windows because Chrome insists on opening new windows in a new tab in a new window. This script used to work (and I was able to make Choosy use it), but now it ends up creating a second instance of Chrome (wow, had no idea that was possible with any Mac app!!). This new instance doesn't have my bookmarks and is not logged into the sites where the "original" chrome instance is logged in. That wasn't a problem before, It…

  16. Tell me how to copy my rules to a new Choosy install, or where Choosy stores rules so I can manually copy them over to my new macbook.

  17. Choosy only recognizes Google Chrome's profile with "Default" or "Profile x" directories.
    But a profile directory can be anything if you create it with profile-directory parameter.
    For example:
    sh
    $ open -a "Google Chrome.app" --args --profile-directory="foobar"

    And I prefer this way because "Profile x" is not semantic.
    Please support this case.

  18. It would be great if you could make FileMaker google oauth play nice with a secondary browser, e.g. Vivaldi. I get as far as getting the rule to work: w.o.w. Vivaldi opens, automatically accepts, FileMaker continues the login... but Vivaldi stays open with the window open as well. And this is exactly the outcome that I want to avoid. After 10 auths there are windows all over the place. It would be nice if the operation works just like the browser is the default browser: if it is not open, it starts, opens the auth window, authenticates, closes the window,…

  20. Choosy 1.1 worked fine in Yosemite 10.10.5 in my old machine. But Choosy is still not working after running Migration Assistant in my new i5 MacMini also running Yosemite even though I've now uninstalled Choosy in the old one. What's up? Why isn't it working?
