Mass Deployment
Does Choosy have a plist file which can be configured and packaged? We are looking at using Choosy in our enterprise but need to be able to deploy it. Any information you can provide on the location of configuration files/plists and under which profiles they are installed would be helpful
Thank you

If only one browser is running, use that browser
If I have any single browser running, I want to open links in that browser
If I have two or more browsers running, I want the Choosy prompt

Ability to add a rules from command line (ideally Alfred App)
Choosy is awesome but if you have a new rule, it's kind of a pain to add. I would love to see an easy way to add simple rule like: open this url in this browser from command line (which then can be wrap around an Alfred workflow)

Does that solve the problem?

Support for native os x notifications
I am using choosy with fluid and I would like it so when I click on os x's built in facebook notifications, my fluid facebook app opens. I was unable to find a way to achieve this via advanced rules, and even if it is possible, it would be nice if the "source application" rule were just "source" and one was allowed to select things that aren't considered applications (such as os x notifications).
In the meantime though, is there a way to achieve this with the current state of choosy?3 votes -

open in choosy
When I right-click a link in Safari and click "Open with Choosy", it brings up a list of browsers. I would like Choosy to use my rules to determine which browser to use. Is this possible?

Apply advanced rules to expanded URLs
When clicking a shortened URL it would be great if the advanced rules could be applied to the expanded target.

Choosy no longer supported by developer - same issue of not launching on restart
It doesn't look like Choosy is being supported anymore. The same issue where it doesn't launch on restarting the PC still occurs and has been the same for the last 3 operating systems. I think the developer should at least update the product, or open source it so it can be fixed and supported properly

Choosy doesn't seem to work with Fluid sites.
I use Fluid to make browsers for certain webpages, including Google.com. If no browsers are open and I need to quickly search for something, I can open it instead of a regular browser without having to wait for all its tabs to load.
But when search results are returned, none of the links can be opened in the Fluid window. The Choosy window pops up, I choose the Fluid browser - the page flashes and nothing happens.
Earlier Safari was closed when I tried this several times and something very erratic occurred: I chose Fluid, but It appeared as though…

Automatically update the user base
Automatically update the user base and serials tagged when you launch a new version. The old serial numbers do not seem to work with the new versions.

What does the Choosy helper do?
Choosy always starts at login even with the "start Choosy helper at login" box unchecked. What's different if I enable it?

The helper does not launch on login on Yosemite
I have to launch the helper manually after each restart on Yosemite. This wasn't the case on Mavericks.
