Bug? - View in (null)
The Reeder app was recently updated and I've noticed that the Context Menu item for Choosy is now "View in (Null)" instead of "View in Choosy" I don't'know if this is an issue with Choosy or Reeder, but thought I'd point it out in both support forums.

Add an icon at the end (optionally) that would copy the URL to the clipboard
Sometimes I would just like to copy the URL (like, when using Skitch, clicking the "Share" button tries to open the page in a browser, when I would rather just copy that URL and paste it in to an IM window.)

Choosy not opening Twitter notifications from Notification Center in tweetdeck
Choosy is not opening tweetdeck when links from twitter notifications in notification center are set to redirect there via rules, I have all my general preferences set to safari, just wanted Choosy to open those specific redirections in Tweedeck, any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks in advance for the help

fix tweetdeck
Choosy doesn't behave correctly with Tweetdeck. I've set a rule to launch Chrome, but it always opens links in Safari. Won't respect the modifier key either.

Choosy does not match ReadNow.app in rule definition
I have a rule which says "if source application is /Applications/ReadNow.app, use best running browser". However, even if I promote this rule to rule 1, when I open a link from ReadNow, I am asked to select from all running browsers instead of it Just Working and opening the link in Safari.
Choosy works correctly with similar rules referencing other applications. What's going wrong here?

enable the browser plugins to send all tabs (not just one) to a different browser
The browser plugins are great for sending windows to a different browser, but for people like me who keep tons of tabs open at once, it'd be awesome if I could send them all to a different browser at once.

support Fluid 1.2 in ChoosyFluid
ChoosyFluid has no trouble detecting Fluid SSB's version 0.9.6, but finds none at higher version numbers...

support firefox profiles best as possible
Profile support for ffox on the mac is a bit opaque, but I use it to keep a completely separate environment for e.g. online banking.
From the shell ".../Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -ProfileManager" lets you create new profiles, and then ".../Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -ProfileManager -P ProfileName" will launch firefox with a particular profile.
When you launch ffox this way, you can have multiple copies of it running at the same time. I don't really expect choosy to know what to do here automatically (prompt maybe?).
However, when you quit any ffox instance Choosy loses track of the other running ffox processes and no longer shows…
43 votesI would love to support Firefox profiles in the same was as Chrome profiles (where each profile can be treated as a distinct browser). Unfortunately, that hasn’t been possible to achieve so far.
Firefox does have command line arguments that can be used to launch a new instance of the browser for a specific profile, but once it’s running there’s no way I can find to control which profile a newly opened link will be sent to (the closest I’ve been able to get is forcing Firefox to start a another new instance for the profile, which opens the link in the right profile, but also causes the previous profile instance—and any windows or tabs it had open—to quit).
I’ll keep coming back and reviewing this—maybe it will become possible in future Firefox versions.

remove the git repo from the distributable
While looking for a while to automate a global git status I noticed Choosy includes a git repo within its resources.
~/Library/PreferencePanes/Choosy.prefPane/Contents/Resources/English.lproj/ChoosyHelp/.git

Links clicked in one Fluid SSB matching a rule to open in another SSB, do not open at all.
Fluid v1.4
The current SSB stays focused, however the Window loses focus (the Application is still the foremost application, however).

Choosy works by setting itself as the default browser. This problem often arises when another browser sets itself as the default (e.g. many browsers nag you to set them as the default when they are launched, and if you do so Choosy will be disabled)
Could this be the cause of your problem?

Implement URL rewriter
It would be useful in some cases that a URL has to be rewritten based on search and replace (incl. RegExp) some strings in a URL and send it to a specific browser.
E.g.: Click on the URL http://system.xy.com will be rewritten to http://system.ab.com and then will be opened with Camino

Preference to use choosy for all links in the browser
I'd really like a preference to have choosy run against all links clicked in the browser.
I always open certain sites in certain browsers (gmail and youtube in chrome, etc.) Choosy is great for this, but sometimes there are links to those sites in a page and if I don't notice and choose 'open with choosy', they open in the current browser, bypassing my choosy preferences. I'd like to be able to set my preferences for all links, not just when I remember to click 'open in choosy'

Lion 10.7: Cannot select Choosy as default browser
On Mac OS X Lion 10.7, I cannot select Choosy as the default browser. I can navigate to the preference pane, but it is greyed out and cannot be selected. This means that none of the links I click on get sent to Choosy!

ChoosyFluid not detecting any fluid instances?
Choosy looks great and the idea behind it is exactly what I want to achieve. But it's just not working for me.
It seems to be functioning, but nothing happens when I click a link that should be trapped. They just open in Chrome as usual. I don't even get the popup to choose a browser.
I'm trying to get links in Gmail to my SSB apps like basecamp to open in the SSB. I installed ChoosyFluid, but when it runs it doesn't detect any SSBs to work with (i have 5 in my apps folder and on the dock)…

update Safari extension to recognize Choosy rules.
I have a rule set up to open urls to audio file types in QuickTime Player. It'd be great if the Choosy Safari extension could read my rules and intercept these URLs and do the right thing.
