I want a link (in Chrome) to always open in another (Safari) browser (even if I click it in Chrome), possible with rules?
I want a link (in Chrome) to always open in another (Safari) browser (even if I click it in Chrome), is that possible with rules? I'm not talking about using Browser integration, I have that as well. I want Choosy to "intercept" that I clicked a link per rules I setup redirect the link to the other browser, without any action by me. I tried doing this with Adv Rules and "specific application" rule with Chrome selected, but it does not seem to work intra-browser (it only works in other Mac apps with URLs to a Browser). Am I wrong?

Choosy should allow the rewriting of URLs.
I often get URLs in Adium and other places that were pasted from Firefox which leaves them incorrect by html-encoding the URL. This results in "http://foo.com/?bar&baz" rather than "http://foo.com/?bar&baz"
A simple regexp substitution could fix this; allowing a generic external rewrite API would be even better.
As a workaround, I'll see if I can write an app that accepts such URLs, and sends the corrected ones back to Choosy; then I can have Choosy send them to it rather than a 'real' browser…

support Fluid 1.2 in ChoosyFluid
ChoosyFluid has no trouble detecting Fluid SSB's version 0.9.6, but finds none at higher version numbers...

Add support for Chrome Profiles
They just hit the Beta Channel so this is an extremely early request!
http://chrome.blogspot.com/2011/11/take-your-chrome-stuff-with-you-in-new.html...but it'd be great if Choosy could somehow route link clicks to specific Chrome Profile windows.
Thanks, and keep up the great work, George!

Option to prioritize currently running browsers
Say you have 5 browsers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and you have 4 and 5 open. I'd like it to reorder to 4, 5, 1, 2, 3 so the open browsers are first, then the not running browsers.

Lion 10.7: Cannot select Choosy as default browser
On Mac OS X Lion 10.7, I cannot select Choosy as the default browser. I can navigate to the preference pane, but it is greyed out and cannot be selected. This means that none of the links I click on get sent to Choosy!

ChoosyFluid not detecting any fluid instances?
Choosy looks great and the idea behind it is exactly what I want to achieve. But it's just not working for me.
It seems to be functioning, but nothing happens when I click a link that should be trapped. They just open in Chrome as usual. I don't even get the popup to choose a browser.
I'm trying to get links in Gmail to my SSB apps like basecamp to open in the SSB. I installed ChoosyFluid, but when it runs it doesn't detect any SSBs to work with (i have 5 in my apps folder and on the dock)… more

update Safari extension to recognize Choosy rules.
I have a rule set up to open urls to audio file types in QuickTime Player. It'd be great if the Choosy Safari extension could read my rules and intercept these URLs and do the right thing.

Allow rules to reformulate the link before sending it out. My mailto links need a special syntax.
I need to turn a standard mailto links into links for a web-based email system with "server.com/compose.php?sendto=user%40domain.com"

Seems to not be working properly since last OS update.
It will workmproperly when I tell it to offer me running browsers, but when I want all browsers it offers me ALL browsers, not just the ones on my browser list. I do web development, so I have a LOT of them, but only want to choose from about 5 when I click a link, the ones on my browser list. This is how it used to work, but no longer.

Open links clicked in Entourage in background instead of bringing browser to foreground
When I click a link from an email in Entourage, it brings the browser called by Choosy to the foreground. Would love to tell Choosy to always open links in the background

Create a service to "Open URL with Choosy"
Mac OSX services are useful and available system-wide. Sometimes we want to launch URLs from various apps and the context menu usually provides quick access to services as does quicksilver so this is a universal protocol for macs now.

fix the bug where Choosy just disables itself on it's own. Every day it does this. Not boot related.
If this is OS related then it's a bug. Very annoying that I can use Choosy, come back a couple of hours later when nothing seems to have changed and it has disabled itself.

hipchat adobe air app doesn't honor choosy links
I use HipChat's desktop air app for OS X and unfortunately choosy just opens them right up in Chrome :( I saw in a previous release note that you fixed it working for air apps, maybe this one is different?
